Data-driven insights make for better arguments
My golden thread
I am a very tech and media savvy humanities graduate about to finish his post-graduate studies.
Having spent enough time analyzing social and cultural phenomena qualitatively, I am keen to work more with data-based analysis and further strengthen my skill set with number-based techniques and methods.
This passion comes from my finding that in an increasingly complex world, data-driven insights can make for better arguments, conclusions, and finally decisions. However I believe inquiry should always start with a problem or question, not with data as a self purpose.
Ultimately I want to get into what is currently called "Data Science" . Hype or not, I'm convinced this fields technical aspects are a great addition to my profile in the long run.
At the moment I keep adding to my skill set while finishing my graduate thesis. I am looking for entry-level positions which build onto what I can already offer and help me grow into this exciting field!
